Cold Bay, Alaska / Brant

Harley Jackson (Host) travels to the Izembek Lodge in Cold Bay, Alaska to hunt for Brant with owner Al Spalinger, dog breeder/ trainer Derek Tomlinson and guide Dennis Nickelson. Derek's Springer Spaniels make the water retrievals for the Pacific Black Brant in the Izembek Lagoon. Harley gets a good shot on some banded Brant and Al Spalinger's 9-month old yellow lab, Gus makes his first retrieval by himself. Then, Nick Seifert explains the different types of hearing protection when firing the shotgun in Straight Shooting and Chef Iverson Brownell prepares the Brant on the Lynx grill in the Wild Game Gourmet.
