A lifelong outdoorsman and competitive shooter, Nick made his career at the top levels of the outdoor industry, including eight years as Senior Editor of Outdoor Life Magazine and a total of 12 years at Outdoor Life and Field & Stream magazines (both publications are owned by Time, Inc.). From there he became a Vice President at ESPN, where he helped develop ESPN Outdoors into a dedicated business unit. Today he is President of Fischer Productions, creator of American Gun Dog and several other outdoor television shows on ESPN. Nick remains active in the shooting world, where he has won sporting clays state class-championships in New York, Connecticut and Utah.
