Harley is a passionate outdoorsman who made a career in the outdoors. With his German Shorthaired Pointers "Sancho" and "Chase" and his French Brittany "Spinner", Harley lives the hunter’s life, traveling the country in pursuit of upland birds, waterfowl, and other species. Back at home, Harley guides upland bird hunts and flyfishing trips throughout the West, and is a partner and manager of Trout Bum 2 in Park City, UT, a full service flyfishing tackle shop and guide service.

A lifelong outdoorsman and competitive shooter, Nick made his career at the top levels of the outdoor industry, including eight years as Senior Editor of Outdoor Life Magazine and a total of 12 years at Outdoor Life and Field & Stream magazines (both publications are owned by Time, Inc.). From there he became a Vice President at ESPN, where he helped develop ESPN Outdoors into a dedicated business unit. Today he is President of Fischer Productions, creator of American Gun Dog and several other outdoor television shows on ESPN. Nick remains active in the shooting world, where he has won sporting clays state class-championships in New York, Connecticut and Utah.

DAVIDOLSON

Originally from North Carolina, Chef David Olson prepares delicious meals in the Wild Game Gourmet, on American Gun Dog. Growing up in gastronomic places such as New York, Hawaii and North Carolina, David helped out in kitchens preparing meals as a young kid. He has since spent over half his life working in the food industry. Starting out as a dishwasher at the age of 14 he worked his way through high school and college in North Carolina waiting tables, cooking and bar tending. After college he went on to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he graduated with honors ranking in the top five of his class. Upon graduation Chef David spent five years traveling the country working for some of the best chefs in America including Dean Fearing and Gray Kunz. Eventually settling out west, Chef David spent the last several years running restaurants in Park City, Utah. David was elected to the Star Chefs of Utah for 2003 and has published recipes in Gourmet Magazine. Before becoming the company chef for Fischer Productions, David Olson was a Chef Instructor at the Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado. He is currently working on his Certified Sommelier Exam from the acclaimed Court of Master Sommeliers.

Chef David and his wife Heidi now live in Park City, Utah where, aside from cooking, enjoy fishing, hunting, climbing, skiing, riding dirt bikes and just plain having fun.
